About the hotel

Set back from Livermead Beach, this hotel has one of the finest and most enviable positions in Torbay, providing guests with unobscured views across the entire bay.

The glorious views can be enjoyed from the large dining room and bar, and many of the bedrooms. The central location in Torquay and the excellent facilities make the Waters Edge a perfect location from which to enjoy a holiday on the English Riviera.

Most of the rooms allow you to wake up to a great sea view. You can enjoy a swim in the hotel’s heated pool and relax in the well-kept gardens and sun terrace.

The large dining area, the Alexandre Restaurant, offers excellent cuisine with a choice of both English and continental dishes, all served by friendly and efficient staff. Special diets can be catered for on request. There is also a bar and lounge area.

- Turn right onto the B3184.
- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and cross the bridge.
- At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit, then merge onto the A30 (signposted Exeter). Keep in the left-hand lane, then bear left.
- Join the M5 (signposted Plymouth) and continue forward onto the A380, entering Wapperwell, continue forward, entering Newton Abbot.
- At Kerswll Gardens roundabout, take the first exit onto Riviera Way A3022 (signposted Torquay).
- Continue forward onto Riviera Way.
- At the traffic signals, bear right (signposted Brixham).
- At the traffic signals continue forward (one way). At the next traffic signals, turn right onto Torbay Road and the hotel is on the right-hand side, just past Seaway Lane.
